Table filled with fall foods

As fall comes into full swing, you may be excited about the different flavors it brings. The different combinations of flavors often give people a warm feeling that they find comfort in. You shouldn’t be excluded from this if you replaced missing teeth with dental implants! Keep reading to learn three foods that are perfect for the season and safe for your tooth replacement option.

1.)  Butternut Squash Soup

This meal is a great, tasty option that is perfect for your dental implants. It uses butternut squash, onion, and garlic, which create a delicious flavor profile. As they cook, they become softer. You’ll blend them and add vegetable broth to create a rich soup that you love. While it’s often served with crusty bread, this may not be the best for your renewed smile. Instead, choose a softer option or let it soak until it’s easier to chew.

2.)  Vegetarian Stuffed Peppers

If you want a comfortable option, then these are ones that you should consider adding to your dinner rotation! Using red bell peppers, you’ll cut them in half and remove the seeds inside. You bake them until tender while you prepare the filling. Using brown rice, black beans, onion, jalapeños, and a variety of spices can create a burst of flavor you love. As you add it in, put on some cheese and broil it until the top is brown.

3.) Creamy Pumpkin Pasta

Many people can’t go through the season without getting some pumpkin! Creating a tasty pasta is an option that’s soft for your dental implants. While this recipe does call for cashews, it’s important that you soak them first. This will help make them easier to blend later on. You’ll start out by baking cut pumpkin, onion, and garlic until tender.

Once done, you’ll blend it with vegetable broth and the cashews with a variety of other spices and herbs. This creates a creamy sauce that you can put on fully cooked pasta.

For all these tasty recipes, you can add salt and pepper to make their flavors pop even more. There are many more fall meals that you can explore by doing a bit of your own research.

You can look up seasonal foods, but just keep in mind that sticking to softer options may be best, especially if you are healing after placement surgery. Avoiding overly hard or crunchy foods can set you up for success and ensure you don’t miss out on this comforting time of the year.
